All Texan Music was founded for musicians, by musicians. Our foundation is the wide variety of musical genres made in Texas by Texans. This includes (but isn’t limited to) Rock, Country, Jazz, Classical, Ambient, Folk, Blues, Conjunto/Mariachi, and many more kinds of music. Many people only think of Texas as home to country music, and we are about showing off not only “Country Music”, but to expose the other many sides (Genres, Types, and Styles) of music made in Texas. We do not do “Rap or Urban” as we feel it is overexposed.
When we started, with the helpful works of our friend, the great Texas Rocker Johnny Nitzinger as first entries in our catalog, iTunes was the only site available to do a transaction of money for a music download. We found an obscure software overseas to do the same transaction, and began to get the word out to musicians to submit material. As a result, we have obtained great music from both big names and “no-name” musicians, and made it available for sale and download.
We offer a FREE sample of each song, so you can hear it before you buy it. As recent music prices fell through the cracks on music sites – the sites competing with iTunes – we decided that all exposure is good exposure when you are a musician.
